Taiwanese Vanilla Another 2024 Nantou Tea Expo found treasure, Taiwanese Vanilla is quickly becoming sought after internationally. The same skill and care that Taiwanese craftsman have put into the making Taiwanese Tea has now started to be placed into the making of Vanilla! Taiwanese vanilla is sweet, floral and wildly fragrant. We have to keep it in another room away from the tea as it is so strong! Reports have stated that due to special breeding programs, Taiwanese Vanilla has about 50% more vanillin than beans produced in more traditional Vanilla growing regions of the world, although the news does not seem to have made it into the English Press. The production of Taiwanese Vanilla is growing but still very limited, with the vast majority of beans being consumed in the local market. If you decide to get a few, you will be one of the only international customers to have tried Taiwan's new up and coming agricultural product! ** We are by no means Vanilla experts but if you are we would love to talk about it.
