Style: Black Origin: Yunnan Province, China Description: Yunnan province has the oldest tea cultivation history in the world. Its mountainous elevation and mild temperatures offer ideal growing conditions for the Camellia sinensis var. sinensis plants. This terroir, with its unique soil profile, adds to the popular, rich, and mildly toasty flavour of Yunnan’s local dian hong (red teas). Yunnan Gold offers a wonderfully rich and satisfying cup. Toasty notes and a sweet lingering complexity can be found in this steep, both in aroma and flavour. With little to no astringency this tea is easy to steep thus making it an excellent, everyday black tea. Tasting Notes: Notes of sweet golden grass mark both aroma and flavour of this tea. The golden tips of the tea buds intermingled with more mature leaves add a rich and slightly sweet finish, typical of teas from Yunnan. A smooth and well-rounded cup from start to finish. Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. steep 3-5 minutes. Organic
