A charming and beautifully balanced take on pu-erh: this small, green tangerine holds loose shu leaves that were harvested and processed on Yunnan’s Bulong Mountain in 2022. The plant variety used is known as zi ya or purple bud for its distinctive leaf color, which comes from a high level of the antioxidant anthocyanin. The young tangerine skin has developed a wonderful fragrance as it’s aged; savor the sweet and spicy orange aroma alongside the smooth, mellow flavor of the tea. Break off a small portion of the skin and brew it along with the leaves, and enjoy this rich pu-erh through many infusions. Four tangerines Each tangerine is approximately 11 g, and holds about two servings. Country: ChinaRegion: YunnanTasting Notes: orange blossom, bamboo, pomanderYear of Production: 2022
