This blend is crafted by Mr. Ishida, a tea master whose defining pursuit is sweetness. His work spans many styles of tea, but it’s always drinkable — made for everyone. For this particular blend, he sources the best Saemidori leaves each year from across Kagoshima, a region known for its volcanic terroir, which gives the tea a rich, full-bodied character. Through careful selection, blending, and expert final firing, he shapes a Saemidori that is sweet, silky, and gently rounded with a warm roasted finish. This is our most repurchased tea.
