This is from the Ruby 18 tea bush in Taiwan. It is a cross between a Taiwanese oolong and an Assam black tea plant. This results in an oolong that brews darker and has more body, or alternatively, a black tea that is slightly lighter than usual and possesses the pleasant fruity flavors characteristic of an oolong.
