About this Darjeeling Tea Estate The Jungpana tea estate is located in one of the most inaccessible areas of Darjeeling and can only be reached by foot while following a narrow, snaking road, then up more than 350 steps, and finally along a wooden footbridge over the river Changey Khola. It is roughly between 1,000 and 1,500 metres above sea level and is known for producing some of the most distinct and muscatel-tasting Darjeeling Teas of the entire region.
