This means that Blackcurrant Tea has about 45-mg of the chemical compound per 8-oz cup. How to Make Blackcurrant Tea Put Loose Tea with Blackcurrant leaves into a Tea Infuser or Filter. Place the Tea-filled accessory in a mug or cup. Begin brewing by pouring in freshly boiled water at temperatures of 100°C. Infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. Any longer and you risk creating a bitter taste.
