The 5th Tea of Christmas I like to make at least 1 eggnog tea each year around this time & usually that eggnog tea is part of our 12 Teas of Christmas box! I’ve made unique combinations, like Eggnog Chai, Banana Eggnog & many others.. All of my eggnog creations throughout these 10 years have been amazing, if I do say so myself! This year, I decided to go for something a bit simpler: Eggnog Genmaicha. Roasty, toasty Genmaicha with eggnog essence (don’t worry, it’s vegan!), a touch of freshly shaved nutmeg, vanilla bean & just a hint of rum essence (it’s non-alcoholic!) The result is a smooth, creamy eggnog flavor that tastes like the holidays! So tasty! Cheers! organic ingredients: green tea, toasted/popped rice, nutmeg, vanilla bean & natural flavors to brew: shake the pouch before measuring to ensure that the tiny vanilla beans are well incorporated. Use 3g of tea to 12oz of hot water (175°F) & steep for 2 minutes. Strain & enjoy! serving suggestion: I like this warm, but it’s good chilled too! Hot, it’s a cozy tea time treat that’s hard to beat – chilled it’s a lovely holiday drink that offers you an organic, vegan, gluten-free way to enjoy traditional holiday flavors! A teensy bit of sugar will enhance those flavors, but it’s quite nice without any sweetener!
