Overview
Best pick • solid white choice from Unknown origin

We're hoping to source a new lot in the future, but there is no guarantee. The depth of simplicity. Light in body, but definitive in flavor and presence. Herbaceous without being sharp or vegetal. Satisfying, clean, mineral finish. Good for many steeps. Made with the Fuding Big Hair cultivar, this white tea was made by Mr. Tang Shuang Jiang on April 10, 2020. The material comes from Lake Forest Village of Fuding city in Fujian province. In addition to the many lakes, there are dense bamboo forests growing alongside the tea plants which gives them a unique aroma. According to one local story, a young couple was chased out of the village and the girl was forced to jump into a lake. When the boy found his lover’s body, he joined her in her fate. An angel found this tragedy moving and let the lake become land. The girl was turned into a tea plant and the boy turned into a bamboo tree to cover her.
