Overview
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

“Purchased as a startup gift from our father/father-in-law, we had this tea in hand before we had a website or even existed as a company. This was admittedly a nervous step into the unknown, but one that ended up being a good choice. This tea was originally pressed by close family friend and journalist who took part in documenting the ancient tea horse road (茶马古道) very early on. For us, this is the tea that started it all, and represents a sort of point of no return – not that we’ve looked back since. This tea has held up well over the years, with a strong fragrance in the cup and some camphor notes developing as it enters year 13. Availability: 1 x 357 cake, 1 x ~400g brick, 7 x 98g (7g coins)
