Spring 2023 harvested tea from 80-100 year old tea trees growing on Mang Fei Mountain (Yong De County of Lincang). The tea trees from which the leaves were harvested are pure large leaf assamica varietal, the very same tea trees used to make pu-erh tea. The only difference being that these leaves were processed into white tea using withering/shade-drying. White tea made in this minimalist manner is replete with cha qi, flavor and aroma! The tea soup has a deep orange-red color with a thick viscous character. The tea takes many, many steeps, only very gradually losing its flavor and body! Suitable for long-term aging! 250 Grams per cake (160 cakes in total) Early April 2023 Harvest Mang Fei Mountain, Yong De County, Lincang Prefecture Wrapper Design by Studio Maglen
