This Hon, or True Gyokuro, is shaded for 20 days before being hand harvested. This process results in elevated levels of the amino acid L-theanine which imparts a deep and pervasive savoriness, balanced by a gentle floral finish. Shizuku is our entry-level gyokuyro, though it has no shortage of depth and complexity.
