Hojicha is a traditional Japanese tea made from roasted green tea leaves. Its birthplace is Kyoto, in the Uji region, where this tea has been grown and roasted by hand for over a hundred years. Thanks to the special low-temperature roasting technique, hojicha develops a deep nutty–caramel aroma, a smooth taste, and contains almost no caffeine.
