Overview
Pairing: shortbread, fresh fruit, or mild cheeses

Spring 2025 tea from a single ancient tea garden. Softer than the Gulan, no bitterness, low astringency, on the redder side. This garden is located in the middle of Da Ping Zhang, it comprises a small hill on which tea grows on medium slopes. The forest cover is heavy, therefore the tea trees receive a lot of shade and the soil is rich in organic matter. This tea is from one of the earliest batches we made in Spring 2025. We chose not to incorporate it to our Jingmai Gulan blend because it was processed a bit redder than the other batches, due to a long withering time. The weather was very dry when we made this one. It is a soft tea with a mild fragrance. Not as rich in taste as the gulan because this one comes from a single garden. It's interesting to have in your collection if you particularly like Jingmai tea, this is typical Da Ping Zhang material with plenty of sweetness.
