For those who eat dessert first. Plum candy sweet in fragrance and cup. Light in body, juicy in mouthfeel, no astringency. This tea is easy to appreciate. Harvested and produced April 10, 2025 by Ms. Huang in Lincang City, Yunnan Province. It’s is a one bud, two leaf pick of the Zi Juan (Purple Beauty) cultivar growing at approximately 3,200 feet. Since the late 1980’s, the Purple Beauty cultivar has been propagated by the Menghai Research Center and through further cultivation is now being more widely planted, but the tea is still scarcely available in the U.S. Ingredients: black tea Steeping Instructions 4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 4 min.
