Overview
Pairing: sushi, steamed vegetables, or citrusy salads

A lovely 2004 spring harvest tea blended from Mengku area tea gardens! Wu Chi Dao is a small Mengku area brand of Pu-erh tea that launched in 1999 and specializes in stone pressing raw pu-erh tea. This particular production was relatively dry stored in Dongguan, Guangdong from 2004 until April 2021. The tea has mellowed a lot but is still full-bodied and voluminous in the mouth, lubricating to the throat and has a sweet mushroom broth taste. It's a nicely aged tea with plenty of complexity to enjoy now, but with enough potency to allow for further aging as well. 380 Grams per cake * There is no pressing date printed on the wrapper. ** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!
