This Yi Wu region harvested tea was wet piled in Menghai in 2001 and then aged in baskets in a Guangdong dry storage condition in Dongguan. The result is a well aged ripe that is still clean and potent, without wet pile taste, but also lacking any wet storage notes! The taste has notes of dried fruit, old camphor wood, and five spice. There is also a "chen xiang" that can only really be described as "aged taste", which is unique to aged pu-erh and is particularly prominent in dry aged pu-erh teas! Each basket contains roughly 500 grams of tea! We also sell a 1999 Basket Aged Pu-erh Ripe Pu-erh Tea from Menghai that was Kunming stored . ***These baskets were packed many years ago and the weight varies from basket to basket. Please do not expect exactly 500g. These are being sold "as is." Buy 1 Basket of 2001 Basket Aged Ripe Pu-erh Tea from Yi Wu and get 5 tuos of 15 Years Aged Golden Melon Ripe Pu-erh Tea Tuo FREE!
