The tastefully light body has a dark, subterranean character. Sweet, overripe plums are intertwined with the aromatics of licorice and tobacco. Low and mellow without getting lugubrious, it has a lively mystique that keeps your senses heightened. Produced April 4-10, 2024 by Mr. G. Ranjith Kumar at the Lethenty Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of the Norwood 2 cultivar growing at 3,700 feet.
