Menghai Buddha Aroma Tea (aka 佛香) has a high and long-lasting fragrance, with a unique chestnut aroma, the taste is rich and fresh, and the soup color light green and bright, the bottom of the leaf is bright green. Buddha Aroma varietal is a hybrid of local Menghai large leaf Assamica and smaller-leaf varietal (from northeast Yunnan). It was first developed in 1987 and is only grown in a few select Menghai county tea gardens. First Flush of Spring (Early March)
