Overview
Best pick • solid yellow choice from Unknown origin
Pairing: breakfast pastries, aged cheese, or dark chocolate

Made from roasted buckwheat kernels, our delicious and naturally caffeine-free sobacha makes for a comforting hot brew as well as an exceptionally quenching iced beverage. In Korea and Japan, buckwheat tea is commonly kept in the refrigerator or in a warmer for serving in place of water. Its distinctive velvety golden-yellow liquor bears notes of roasted nuts, a savory foundation of dark wood and straw, and a malty sweetness that persists on the palate. It can help ease an upset stomach, and offers a similar drinking experience to our mugicha (barley tea) without the gluten. BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: SCOOP | 3g or 1 heaping tsp per 8oz of water POUR | Boiling water over grains STEEP | 5-10 mins Steeping instructions are a starting point for how to make this tea. We encourage you to play around with the tea quantity or steeping time to customize the brew for your taste.
