What is a Turkey Tail Mushroom?Turkey Tail is a beautiful, fan-shaped mushroom that grows on logs and tree trunks, named for its colorful stripes that resemble a wild turkey’s tail. It’s been used for centuries around the world and is valued today for its earthy taste and unique natural compounds. In tea, it adds a mild, woodsy depth that pairs well with herbs and spices. Flavor profile: This tea has a lovely Blueberry flavor. When brewed correctly, you will get little to no earthy notes. Ingredients: Honey Bush Turkey Tail Powder and Extract Blueberry Powder Blueberry Extract. Country of origin: Mushroom products sourced from Down Home Mushrooms Saucier, Mississippi. Honey Bush is a product from Africa All other flavors are products of the USA Tea Making Directions: 1tsp per 8oz boiling water, steep 10 minutes. The longer steep time is key with Mushroom teas to get the right flavor. Other things to note: This tea will usually require a tea infuser.
