Have you heard of this idea: blending matcha into leaf teas (sencha or genmaicha mostly)? Usually the ratio is 1 gram of matcha to 1 bag of tea...so 99:1 for a 100-gram bag. We were wondering what happened if you blended a much higher ratio. With some spring sencha and matcha, we created a luxurious 9:1 blend. We have named this tea after the Shinto god of the forest, 久久能智神 Kukunochi-no-kami, who was born to the two main gods, Izanagi and Izanami, during the birth of gods period (kamiumi). Ingredients: Green tea leaf, matcha powder Ratio of Sencha to Matcha is approximately 9:1 (usual ratio is 99:1) Steeping Recommendation Tea: 3 grams Time: 60 seconds Water temperature: 70C/158F degrees Water amount: 200 ml.
