Furuichi Seicha, a family operated tea factory run by the Furuichi family is based in Chiran, Kagoshima. They have created this blend of Kagoshima cultivated tencha leaves and ground it into a matcha with an excellent color and perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness for creating matcha latte drinks. Flavor Profile: Yunomi.life offers Naruto and Yanagi as Premium Barista Grades and though flavor is always subjective we feel that this matcha is comparable though perhaps a little more grainy. As with the other two, this grade level should have medium umami flavor and equivalent bitterness but very good green color making it perfect for a more luxurious matcha latte. Ingredients: 100% green tea Production: 15-20 days of shading depending on the weather, machine harvest, ball mill grinding. 2025 harvest will use leaves from a field being converted into organic cultivation for certification.
