The clearest wakocha — zero bitterness, pure drinkability The clearest and most transparent flavour among all our wakocha. Zero bitterness, a very smooth finish, and a delicate floral fragrance that quietly lingers. Despite its lightness, this is not a thin or watery tea — there’s a gentle depth and body that make each sip feel complete. Zairai — native seed-grown tea bushes — are now rarely cultivated in Japan. Each plant is genetically unique, making every field almost a natural blend. The producer himself describes this as the finest Zairai black tea he has ever made — a flower-scented, gentle wakocha. Having tasted many wakocha, we agree. The contrast between the wild, rustic look of the leaves and the elegance of the taste is remarkable. As the cup cools, the floral character deepens and the sweetness becomes more pronounced. A tea that feels natural, vibrant, and soothing — it soaks into you easily.
