The warm, rounded, and playful green tea from Japan and tea leaf stems create a sweet white sesame seed or chestnut cup. The tender quality and texture of this cup are reminiscent of soft white rice. This very well-balanced cup has a very low astringency. Japanese Kukicha Tea brews for 2-3 minutes at 180 F. Use 1 level teaspoon of dry ingredients for a 6-ounce cup and re-steep the same ingredients up to 3 times without compromising flavor or quality.
