Strong fruit character exemplary of the style, fortified by a polished redwood aroma. A buoyant cup with a texture that moves like a canoe through still water. Harvested and produced April 13, 2025 and finished roasting May 25, 2025. It was produced by Mr. Huang Yuan Cai on Wudon Mountain of Chaozhou City in Guangdong Province. It’s a three leaf and one bud pick of the Song cultivar growing at approximately 3,000 feet. “Song” here is a reference to the Chinese Song Dynasty of 960 to 1279. Ingredients: oolong tea Steeping Instructions 4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | Steep 4 min. Traditional Steeping - Use 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan and 195 degree water. 10 second rinse - Discard 1st Steep – 20 seconds 2nd Steep – 15 seconds 3rd Steep – 30 seconds 4th Steep – 60 seconds 5th Steep – 2 minutes Number of Cups 2 oz makes 19 cups, 4 oz makes 38 cups
