Tip: Steep 1 tsp per 8 oz at 75°C for 2 minutes for a smooth Genmaicha with Matcha.
Pairing: sushi, steamed vegetables, or citrusy salads
Japanese green tea blended with roasted rice. The flavor is savory and the broth is jade colored. It is an excellent accompaniment to food, and generally easy to drink in the evening because it has less tea leaves (therefore less caffeine).
