Oh Deer! 2021 Kunlu Raw Puer

With this year’s material comprising of a mixed picking of young and older arbour trees, this tea offers up a full flavour and pleasant mouth feel. Kunlu is known for having wild and semi-wild trees, as well as a wide range of varietals that can be found, giving different pickings and productions their own unique style. Just as with the previous year, this tea starts out with a mineral-sweet flavour, some gentle bitterness and a slight vegetal quality that continues to build with each brew. Both the fragrance and sweetness are long lasting and distinct, accompanied by a nice body feeling. Picking period: Blend of 1st and 2nd flush, pre-April 15 $0.29/gram
