A new addition to our "aged as mao cha" series! A 2015 Spring harvested tea from Mengban Mountain in Yong De county of Lincang! Mengban is a sister mountain to Mangfei Mountain and has many old tea trees ranging from 60 to 120 years in age. Our offering is from a tea garden situated at roughly 1700 meters! After harvest, the tea was aged in Mengku until late 2022. The aging as mao cha has given this tea a good aging head start but without compromising its original regional character or cha qi. Smooth, sweet, vibrant and thick in the mouth with a nice, lasting mouth-feeling makes this lightly aged tea a perfect choice for those seeking a potent tea that has mellowed enough to make it suitable for drinking now, but preserved enough to allow for further aging! 357 Grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong) 2015 Spring Harvest (Pressed in 2023)
