When the threat of Covid-19 first hit home and we were faced with our store closing in late March, we thought of blending a herbal tea that contained as many anti-viral and immune boosting properties as we could find. It took a while longer than we thought, partly because no-one could decide on the blend’s name! So here it is eventually, hints of cherry and tulsi mix with sour berries in a balanced herbal tea. We still couldn’t finalize the name but somehow it seems appropriate for a tea born out of the pandemic. Caffeine Level: No Caffeine. Origin: Various ingredients from various countries. Ingredients: Elderberries, tulsi, sea buckthorn berries, apple, strawberry leaves, ashwaganha root, elderflower petals, cranberry, cornflower petals, hibiscus, rose hip and natural flavouring. Steeping Suggestions: 1 teaspoon (3g) of tea per 6 oz cup of water, 100°C (212°F) for 4-8 minutes. Can be sweetened and iced or steeped longer for hot toddy with fresh ginger.
