A clear and balanced tea for keiko and usucha, blended to a classic Uji profile with enough brightness to cut through milk. The blended tencha is rounded out by gentle drying and heating over binchotan charcoal, a traditional practice now almost extinct in Japan. The name Betsugi means "Seperate Grade" (別儀), one of the oldest traditional matcha names.
