Overview
Description Ingredients Description Chinese nomads are first credited with compressing tea into "bricks" for easy travel. Tea was so valuable during some time periods that the bricks were scored or marked into sections and bartered for other goods, even horses. This approximate 500 gram (1.1 lb, by weight) Tea Brick has Chinese markings on both sides. These designs may vary. We do not recommend this tea for drinking by itself, though in the mountains and rural parts of Asia it is often boiled with spices, sweetening, and milk to make a strong concoction which is a supplement to otherwise poor nutrition. Typically today these bricks are used for display. Approximate dimensions are 7.5 inches x 4.625 inches and depth .875 inch Ingredients Black Tea from China
