Overview
This portable, robust shu pu-erh is a great everyday drinker, with a balanced savory note that invites sip after sip: rich, loamy aromas blend seamlessly with an earthy and eucalyptus flavor. Averaging a weighty 9 - 10 grams each, the small compressed discs can be used singly in a large teapot, or cut along the score mark to split into two smaller servings. Try multiple steepings to extend your experience, and be sure to use boiling water. A brief rinse before brewing will help the shape open up, allowing the tea’s full flavor to be expressed. Crafted and pressed in Yunnan in the mid 2000s, the nuggets were finished with a final roast in Taiwan.
