It’s a one bud, three leaf pick of the Tieguanyin cultivar growing at approximately 2,200 feet. Early October is the beginning of the “Han Lu” (Cold Dew) season, where the temperatures drop, but not enough to frost the moisture. This is one of the best times to make Tieguanyin.
