Overview
Unlike the ordinary matcha, Ureshino Kamairi Matcha uses kamairicha (pan-roasted green tea) that is ground into fine matcha powder with stone mill. Light, sweet, and roasted taste will be a perfect matcha lattes. Flavor notes Creamy with a nutty aroma and low astringency, but on the other hand quite strong bitterness. It is difficult to grade this under our standard considerations, so we recommend this for those wanting a sort of espresso version of matcha. The aftertaste appears after a few minutes of drinking and is slightly sweet. Note: We reevaluated this product’s grade on 2025/12/26, downgrading to Standard Barista Grade due to the bitterness level Product Info Name: Ureshino Kamairi Matcha Ingredients: Green tea, powdered Note matcha color has been adjusted to matcha as close as possible to actual color on the iPhone screen Net weight: 40 grams Harvest: Spring Region: Ureshino, Saga Prefecture Notes: Instead of steamed, the leaves are pan- roasted, rolled/dried, then ground into powder.
