Overview
Style: Herbal Origin: South Africa Description: Rooibos is produced from the Aspalathus linearis shrub, also known as “red bush.” The plant is native to the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. Once plucked and collected, the leaves are processed into a tisane. Green Rooibos is processed much like a green tea; it is not oxidized and therefore retains more of its original, green colour. Green rooibos has less savoury, less toasted notes than a regular rooibos infusion; The fresh, mildly sweet green version of the plant instead has gentle notes of sweet fresh grass. Crisp, with a mild but invigorating flavour. Tasting Notes: Sweet fresh grassy notes and a gentle sweetness are the marks of this beautiful mild tisane. Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. Steep 5+ minutes. Organic | Caffeine-free
