Overview
The combination of dried apple bits and apple flavor make our Apple Sencha a great alternative to apple cider on a cold evening. It combines the taste of a sweet-sour apple with the flavor of sencha. Also great for iced tea. Origin: Shizuoka Harvest: Between First and Second Harvests Cultivar: Yabukita Tasting Profile: The sweet and sour flavor of an apple is paired with the light, bright flavors of the sencha. Den's Preferred Brewing: Leaf-water ratio: 2-3 g (~1 tsp)/4 oz Water: Boiled; Steep: 30 sec 2nd Cup Water: Boiled; Steep 15 sec For a cup of Iced Tea: Steep as directed for hot tea. Once you brew it, put ice into the cup to lock in the aroma. You can also cold brew this tea to enjoy it a different way.
