Overview
This is such a lovely little tea! We've really fallen in love with this over the last couple years. It is so fresh and vibrant and approachable. It has an inviting floral, grassy aroma with hints of citrus and a memory of jasmine in the taste. It is a real pleaser. There is a lush vibrancy normally only associated with fresh young sheng the week of production that this tea maintains for a very long time. This has been part of our personal collection for a while and have had so many great sessions with it. The farmers have broken their tea gardens up into sections. "Section A Gushu" is our hands down favorite. It's so good! Prefecture: Lincang Elevation: 1400+ m Wood Fired Hand Rolled Direct Sun Dried Single Varietal Spring Material This is a single origin sheng puerh tea offering that is unique and offers an incredible tea experience. It is are from a single garden and remains unblended and processed individually. This tea was aged loose for a year before getting pressed. The extra time aging as loose material gives the tea a nice head start. We pressed very few of these cakes and will not be able to offer samples. Brewing Instructions Use 5-10 grams of leaves and brew with 75-150ml ( 2.5-5oz ) of water at or near boiling. Rinse once for a few seconds. Start with quick steeps under 10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste.
