Overview
Gushu Old Tea Head 古樹老茶頭 Tasting notes: Earthy, velvety, congee Origin: Menghai, Yunnan, China Oxidation: ⦿⦿⦿⦿⦿ Made from 100-year old tea trees in Yunnan, it is a by-product of the fermentation process, where some tea leaves naturally glue together and form tea clumps. The “tea head” is believed to be the essence of Puerh tea, and features a soft, thick mouthfeel with sweet notes reminiscent of a warming bowl of congee.
