Overview
This 2003 Liu Bao is made from old tree Gui Qing material using traditional light fermentation methods. After over 20 years of aging through multiple storage environments, itβs developed a clear ginseng and medicinal character, giving it the expected profile for a tea with traditional processing and proper aging. The amber-red soup is clean with a refreshing quality, delivering a cooling sensation in the mouth and throat. There is a strong chaqi, notable body, and a taste profile that skews herbal without being heavy. The ginseng notes are prominent and clear, backed by a woody depth that holds through multiple infusions. $0.81-0.87/gram
