Overview
This tea consists solely of pure golden tips, resulting in a lighter and sweeter flavor compared to most Assams. It is lightly rolled to preserve the tips. With this technique, there is limited oxidation, making the tea less brisk. Natural sweetness in this tea comes from the tips (or the buds) because the plants send extra sugars there to make more leaves.
