Overview
Milima Kenyan Black Tea ~ GFOP1 One of the very few teas from Kenya to be traditionally produced using the orthodox method. Grown in the Kenya Highlands this tea has distinctive fruity and spicy notes. The leaves are plucked first thing in the morning, then gently rolled to maintain the floral character and take on the twisted leaf appearance. After 3 separate rolls, the leaves are left to oxidise, dried and then sorted into grades. As the top grade, our Milima contains plenty of golden tips yielding a delicious cup of tea. Cup Colour: red brown. Amount of tea per cup: 1 slightly heaped teaspoon. Brewing time: Use freshly drawn water at boiling point for 3 to 4 minutes.
