Overview
NOTE: Due to the current matcha shortage we are restricting orders to a maximum of 4 units per customer. We want to ensure a fair distribution to our customers. We are working with our suppliers to do what we can to ensure a sustainable supply. We appreciate your understanding. This complex and subtle blend of Saemidori, Yutakamidori and Okumidori cultivars from Mr. Ikeda, certified 10th dan (highest rank) master tea blender (‘Cha-shi’) from Kagoshima city, Kagoshima prefecture is the highest grade of ceremonial, certified organic matcha. It is stone-ground and has an aroma of toasted nuttiness with a hint of fresh-baked bread, a frothy, full-mouth-feel flavour of dark chocolate with notes of coffee with a light astringency and a long, back-of-mouth finish of cacao bitterness. This matcha is best enjoyed the traditional manner whisked in hot water. Choose "Complete Packaging" with information or less expensive "Can Only".
