Overview
Lu'An heicha, also known as dark tea, a post fermented tea from Anhui province in China. Tegong Lu'an made on commission for white2tea in spring of 2021 from the best material we could obtain. Often sold in China as "wild" tea, but we decided to call it Tegong instead. Dense with fragrance from the initial rinse and full with aroma and flavor throughout the entire session, the complex sweetness and funk linger in the mouth and throat long after the tea is gone. A unique treat for heicha lovers. Made to age, but enjoyable straight away. Baskets contain ~250g of loosely pressed tea.
