Overview
Kukicha is a type of Japanese Green Tea made from the stems of the tea plant, creating a sweet and gentle tea and using the parts of the plant that aren't typically used, reducing waste. Melon Vine is a type of Kukicha called Karigane which is a title reserved for Kukicha made from shaded tea plants (intended for the production of teas like Gyokuro or Matcha). With a fruity sweetness like melons and a grassy freshness, this is an excellent budget friendly Japanese Green Tea for your shelf. Harvest: Spring, 2025 Region: Uji, Japan Cultivar: Yabukita & Okumidori Elevation: 300m
