Overview
We're hoping to source a new lot in the future, but there is no guarantee. A jungle-thick green Tieguanyin. Intense buttery floral aroma and cup. The mouthfeel is brothy and savory. Nothing subtle about this tea so be careful not to stray too far from the path. Produced May 2-3, 2025 by Mr. Wang Dejiang in Jiandou Town, Anxi County, Fujian Province. It is a one bud, two leaf pick from the Tieguanyin cultivar grown at approximately 2,500 feet. Mr. Wang is 62 years old and has spent decades focused on Tieguanyin, refining the techniques he initially learned from his grandfather. We’ve been buying this tea from him for many years now and hopefully many more to come. Ingredients: oolong tea Steeping Instructions 3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | Steep 3 min.
