Though the Sugiyama family had been farming since 1920, Tadashi himself inherited the farm in 2018 when his father unfortunately passed away. The tea community around him is helping to teach him to create amazing, high-grade teas at very small quantities of a few kilograms to a few dozen kilograms in some cases.
