Overview
In 2018 we made 3 custom mountain blends and pressed them into cute 50g mini cakes. We have special pressings from Bangdong, Hekai, and Mengku. The leaf aroma introduces you to baked goods, dried apricot, and summer grass. The aromas get sweeter with cane sugar notes and a citrus zest. The tea steeps bright and juicy right from the beginning. It is thick, silky smooth and surprisingly gentle but with a good body. It swallows easy and leaves a relaxing throat feel. This tea is not aggressive. The bitterness and astringency melt quickly. These cakes have simple wrappers and no neifei. Brewing Instructions Use 5-10 grams of leaves and brew with 75-150ml ( 2.5-5oz ) of water at or near boiling. Rinse once for a few seconds. Start with quick steeps under 10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste. Enjoy!
