Overview
Genmaicha Satsuki is an interesting and flavorful blend of tea leaves with genmai (brown rice that has been roasted). Den's Tea strongly recommends Genmaicha Satsuki to new green tea drinkers transitioning from coffee or black tea. Origin: Shizuoka Harvest: First Flush Cultivar: Yabukita Tasting Profile: Classic genmaicha profile; robust, refreshing notes of bancha work together with the toasty, nutty notes of the genmai. Is simple and easy to brew. Den's Preferred Brewing: Leaf-water ratio: 2-3 g (~1 tsp)/4 oz Water: Boiled; Steep: 30 sec 2nd Cup Water: Boiled; Steep 15 sec For a cup of Iced Tea: Steep as directed for hot tea. Once you brew it, put ice into the cup to lock in the aroma.
