Overview
Classic Ceylon tea that delivers on the region's signature style – strong and aromatic with a penetrating licorice/anise character layered in. Makes a great breakfast tea with milk and sugar or stands perfectly on its own. This tea comes from the Lumbini Tea Valley in the Ruhuna region of Sri Lanka. The tea garden was started in 1975 by Mr. Dayapala Jayawardana. It is now operated by his son Chaminda. The Lumbini Tea Valley is one of the most consistent producers of top-notch Ceylon tea.
